Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gwidon Patora in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zygmunt Dziechciowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silver Phoenix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Patryk Kensicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Song Sheng Feng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zygmunt Dziechciowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Persson, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Zygmunt Dziechciowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Song Xing in the 21st minute of the match. When Song Xing came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Veth Crystals fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Song Xing couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
