The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Śląsk Bytom's Carlo Monni got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antoni Brama came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Potrero's Karol Borowski. But to his dismay, Karol Borowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Śląsk Bytom's zone, Dan Petrescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antoni Brama came out of the goal and Dan Petrescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper Emil Arendarski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulryk Miazga. The audience was convinced that Ulryk Miazga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Arendarski was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Emil Arendarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulryk Miazga, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper Emil Arendarski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. C. A. Potrero's Emil Arendarski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Potrero from getting a goal against them. Ulryk Miazga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Emil Arendarski made a huge save. In the 46th minute, Carlo Monni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emil Arendarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulryk Miazga, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulryk Miazga to make the kick off. Karol Borowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Potrero:s goal. Śląsk Bytom:s Antoni Brama showed great skill when he stopped Humberto Meder:s penalty. Hakkı Elçin hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Śląsk Bytom's Hakkı Elçin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emil Arendarski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the C. A. Potrero defense, Hakkı Elçin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emil Arendarski. The C. A. Potrero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emil Arendarski should have stopped the shot. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
