Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leandro Pfingsthorn got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Alonso Macera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4thth minute of the game Inácio Freitas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but General Velásquez's Henry Tucknott was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th minute, General Velásquez's Luciano Duguid dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro do Valle in the 11th minute of play forced General Velásquez's goalkeeper Henry Tucknott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Tucknott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florin Susara in the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Michael Meertens notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of General Velásquez's Henry Tucknott. Henry Tucknott was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zézinho Simões made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leandro Pfingsthorn in the 20th minute. Leandro Pfingsthorn had several of the MarquinhosEC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Zézinho Simões as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 28th minute Inácio Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Tucknott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the General Velásquez defense, Florin Susara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Tucknott. The General Velásquez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Tucknott should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the match, General Velásquez's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro do Valle came free, but Henry Tucknott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henry Tucknott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Curt Montes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zézinho Simões made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leandro Pfingsthorn in the 41st minute. Henry Tucknott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Susara, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Michael Meertens's late challenge caught a General Velásquez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Meertens helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, MarquinhosEC's Michael Meertens got a free kick in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alessandro do Valle to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, General Velásquez's Juan Alfonso Kovasic got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Henry Tucknott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MarquinhosEC made a substitution. Perivaldo Guimarães replaced Florin Susara. General Velásquez's Juan Estevan Camilo was substituted for Luciano Duguid. Heliodoro Wiltich hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Michael Meertens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Henry Tucknott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perivaldo Guimarães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Henry Tucknott made a huge save. Zézinho Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Estevan Camilo in the 73rd minute of play. General Velásquez's Henry Tucknott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perivaldo Guimarães in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, General Velásquez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Alfonso Kovasic to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th match minute, General Velásquez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxín Raposo to maneuver through the defense. Henry Tucknott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curt Montes in the 78th minute of play. After 79 minutes General Velásquez's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Inácio Freitas who took care of the corner kick. The corner led MarquinhosEC's Inácio Freitas to fire away a dangerous shot which Henry Tucknott despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zézinho Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Goycolea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zézinho Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Pfingsthorn in the 85th minute of the match. Henry Tucknott was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Perivaldo Guimarães capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Perivaldo Guimarães really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Henry Tucknott made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Perivaldo Guimarães sent off a good shot on target. Henry Tucknott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perivaldo Guimarães in the 92nd minute of play. General Velásquez's Henry Tucknott proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save General Velásquez from getting a goal against them. MarquinhosEC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
