Maurino Serena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a little luck, Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent got control of the ball when Leroy Antunez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th play minute Leroy Antunez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Clark Kent. 3-4. Alcorcón supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing A.D. Alcorcón would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
