Alfonso Signorini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patric Isaksson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Patric Isaksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Signorini, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute Nariman Mansourian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Ángel Santoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Valdemar de Lima almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chacarita Futsal's Miguel Ángel Santoro did a great save. Miguel Ángel Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Tastzian in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Arild Nodland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patric Isaksson. Barrenta SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arild Nodland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 16th minute, Alfonso Signorini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Agustín Tastzian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Ángel Santoro was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Chacarita Futsal's Arild Nodland got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barrenta SC's Patric Isaksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arild Nodland in the 24th minute of play. Agustín Tastzian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patric Isaksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Signorini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Esteve Paublo in the 33rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustín Tastzian in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Ángel Santoro saved Chacarita Futsal from getting behind. Agustín Tastzian's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Miguel Ángel Santoro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Signorini in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patric Isaksson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wellington de Godoi during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Chacarita Futsal booed when Barrenta SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wellington de Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After taking down the ball on Chacarita Futsal's corner Arild Nodland fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Patric Isaksson quite easily take care of the ball. The Chacarita Futsal supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chacarita Futsal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
