The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to FC Alinborger Galați getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Teodor Dumitrachescu hit a great ball. Dietrich Griese kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Alexandru Jucan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yann Detjen went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, FC Alinborger Galați's Alin Avalos got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Jörn Petershagen made a precise shot to the right of Alexandru Jucan. FC Alinborger Galați's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 15 minutes into the game, Mäusekicker's Yann Detjen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexandru Jucan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Mads Kollar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mäusekicker's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Teodor Dumitrachescu scored to the left of an out of position Ole Bentin, making the score, 1-3. Alexandru Jucan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörn Petershagen in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match, Alin Avalos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ole Bentin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ole Bentin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alin Avalos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alin Avalos came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the FC Alinborger Galați fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alin Avalos couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, FC Alinborger Galați's Martin Moga got a free kick in the 31st minute. Yann Detjen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandru Jucan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mads Kollar, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Alexandru Jucan came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Mäusekicker's Jörn Petershagen. But to his dismay, Jörn Petershagen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Yann Detjen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandru Jucan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mads Kollar in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Alinborger Galați's goalkeeper Alexandru Jucan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Jörn Petershagen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandru Jucan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alin Avalos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ole Bentin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alin Avalos made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FC Alinborger Galați's goalkeeper Alexandru Jucan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörn Petershagen. With an all-out effort, Mäusekicker's Alexandru Jucan threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mads Kollar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ole Bentin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alin Avalos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jörn Petershagen scored 1-5 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexandru Jucan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute, Jörn Petershagen made a precise shot to the right of Alexandru Jucan. FC Alinborger Galați's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mads Kollar got free with Alexandru Jucan in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 79 in the game by Jörn Petershagen from a close distance when the talented Alexandru Jucan managed to make a qualified save. FC Alinborger Galați's players were relieved. In the 80th minute Mäusekicker were awarded a corner. Yildiz Ebert went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Yann Detjen heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The crowd rose to their feet as Mads Kollar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alexandru Jucan. That made the score 1-7 in the 88 minute of play. In the 91st minute, Alin Avalos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Alinborger Galați fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-7. 95 minutes into the match, Jörn Petershagen notched a goal, 2-8, to the right of FC Alinborger Galați's Alexandru Jucan. Alexandru Jucan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
