An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Montrelle in the 25th minute of play forced 1947 FC's goalkeeper Martín Rojas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Teofilo Herauso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vincent Janssen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martín Rojas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Martín Rojas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥.

The Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Vincent Janssen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
