Alessandro Sacchi started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Stratton FC's goalkeeper Lawrance See had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Paulo Lucas. Lawrance See showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Ekström, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jervis Tresise in the 11th minute of play forced Altamora FC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Liher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimmy Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lawrance See took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmy Ekström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Sacchi in the 14th minute of play forced Altamora FC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Liher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Altamora FC's Jimmy Ekström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lawrance See. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. Jimmy Ekström was extremely unlucky when he, in the 18th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 30th match minute, Stratton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthew Grieve to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Stratton FC's goalkeeper Lawrance See had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimmy Ekström. Altamora FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Brion Heyros in the 35th minute. The corner ended in Amado Valverde almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Stratton FC's Lawrance See did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Stratton FC's zone, Jimmy Ekström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lawrance See came out of the goal and Jimmy Ekström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Jimmy Ekström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altamora FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimmy Ekström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lawrance See breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Duarte Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 49th minute, Jervis Tresise made a precise shot to the right of Tiburcio Liher. Altamora FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jimmy Ekström made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Jaffery Tarrant threw the ball into play from the sideline. Altamora FC's Amado Valverde quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lawrance See made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy Ekström in the 61st minute of play. Altamora FC made a substitution. Rolf Pocobello replaced Duarte Garcia. The supporters of Altamora FC booed when Stratton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Grieve didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimmy Ekström in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lawrance See prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Azenha in the 78th minute of play forced Stratton FC's goalkeeper Lawrance See to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Jimmy Ekström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jimmy Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stratton FC's Ivan Warhurst was substituted for Jervis Tresise. 87 minutes into the game, Altamora FC's Jimmy Ekström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lawrance See made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Stratton FC's zone, Jimmy Ekström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lawrance See came out of the goal and Jimmy Ekström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Leão's late challenge caught a Stratton FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Leão helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes Altamora FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Leão. Altamora FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
