In the 24th minute of the match, Robert Koren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jannich Brolyng saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ožbolt Ćubić in the 27th minute of play forced Saco FC's goalkeeper Jannich Brolyng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jannich Brolyng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Koren in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Saco FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, Saco FC's Visti Schiødt got a free kick in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the match, Saco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mujo Tavčar came free, but Jannich Brolyng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sivart Ernskov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rene Venika tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bore Ristič was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 68 minutes into the game, Ditlef Thybring was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NK FOLKROLA the free kick. In the 68th minute, Ditlef Thybring hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jannich Brolyng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bore Ristič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Venika was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lenny Anegaard.
