One of Old BaoBaB Accademy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ►Las Mercedes F.C◄:s goal. Sergio Lozano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alberto Guaita came out and tried to block the shot, but Sergio Lozano slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 31st minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

If Beto Centella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Beto Centella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Guaita was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Sergio Gutierrez came out of the goal and Beppe Sabatino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ had won after a very even match.
