Hermann Hesse was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Blasi Asas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dale Dolar got free with Hermann Hesse in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hermann Hesse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blasi Asas in the 22nd minute of play. Calixto Inchaurdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Misaki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Tom Misaki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Calixto Inchaurdi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blasi Asas in the 33rd minute of play forced Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalkeeper Hermann Hesse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermann Hesse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blasi Asas in the 33rd minute of the match. Hermann Hesse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Dolar, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Espiridion Durazno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Hermann Hesse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dale Dolar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Hermann Hesse made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blasi Asas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Tom Misaki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Evelio Inguanzo was substituted for Torbjørn Trondsen. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Rius Mascaran was substituted for Erruki Velarroa. After 59 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Blasi Asas. The supporters of Deportivo Popolizio FBC booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blasi Asas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evelio Inguanzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorrin Briones came free, but Hermann Hesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Albert Camus ran over to the corner to take the kick. Peru's Calixto Inchaurdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Inguanzo in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Inguanzo in the 81st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Calixto Inchaurdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evelio Inguanzo had several of the Peru's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 88 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Calixto Inchaurdi as he didn't even see the shot coming. Calixto Inchaurdi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evelio Inguanzo's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Evelio Inguanzo might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Calixto Inchaurdi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evelio Inguanzo ran back to his position shaking his head. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
