Machados FC V2 were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Altamora FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hildeberto Cortez took the corner. When Ivan Torres fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Machados FC V2's protests and gave Ivan Torres a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes Machados FC V2 got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Torres. Altamora FC's Tiburcio Liher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Mailat in the 30th minute of play. Jimmy Ekström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rodrigo Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Juvenal Guerreiro in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Altamora FC's Higino lago. After having played for 46 minutes, Jimmy Ekström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altamora FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimmy Ekström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Bogdan Mailat made the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmy Ekström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Altamora FC's Rodrigo Leão was substituted for Maximino Gizon. Machados FC V2's Fu Yi Yan was substituted for Pastor Gilesindo. In the 64th match minute, Machados FC V2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hildeberto Cortez to maneuver through the defense. Machados FC V2's Iurie Cobzar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tiburcio Liher in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hamilton Candeias kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Rodrigo Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Ekström, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Jimmy Ekström sped through Machados FC V2's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodrigo Lima.
