Triforce Super Soccer were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Zemantauskas FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Duarte Trevisan took the corner. After a rather tough play, Zemantauskas FC's William Cavalcante got a free kick in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Zemantauskas FC's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Arósio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Paulo de Lima. Jean-Pascal Croissant could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Carlos Augusto Arósio made a huge save. In the 35th match minute, Zemantauskas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th match minute, Zemantauskas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís Senna to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zemantauskas FC's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Arósio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Salles came out of the goal and Ahmet Reha Pekel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zemantauskas FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
