The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zorros del Desierto's Alex Dijoux got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 4 minutes into the match, Obi Wan Cannabis's goalkeeper La Cimas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Dijoux. A collision led to Obi Wan Cannabis getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Teodor Buitrago hit a great ball. Jon-Ander Wallffiguer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 8 minutes, Alex Dijoux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zorros del Desierto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Dijoux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Dijoux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. La Cimas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Cimas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lance Kuch in the 15th minute of the match. Zorros del Desierto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lance Kuch in the 16th minute. Lance Kuch made a great header on Zorros del Desierto's corner, it was just that Obi Wan Cannabis's La Cimas managed to reach the ball for a save. With his leg La Cimas managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Zorros del Desierto's Alex Dijoux fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Alex Dijoux kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving La Cimas. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Obi Wan Cannabis's La Cimas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Obi Wan Cannabis from getting a goal against them. La Cimas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Dijoux in the 24th minute. A hard shot 29 in the game by Alex Dijoux from a close distance when the talented La Cimas managed to make a qualified save. Obi Wan Cannabis's players were relieved. Alex Dijouxs short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got La Cimas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alex Dijoux succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 34th playminute. In the 37th minute, Alex Dijoux got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's Alex Dijoux sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that La Cimas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Zorros del Desierto's Alex Dijoux in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Obi Wan Cannabis's goalie prevented a goal. Zorros del Desierto were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Obi Wan Cannabis's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lance Kuch took the corner. If Jon-Ander Wallffiguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Quentín Dittmann fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Obi Wan Cannabis's protests and gave Quentín Dittmann a yellow card for diving instead. Quentín Dittmann hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Alex Dijoux's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but La Cimas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After some careless play in the Obi Wan Cannabis defense, Alex Dijoux kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of La Cimas. The Obi Wan Cannabis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that La Cimas should have stopped the shot. Zorros del Desierto made a substitution. Alexis Taganikas replaced Jon-Ander Wallffiguer. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodor Buitrago made a kick off. In the 57th minute Lance Kuch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but La Cimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Dijoux in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg La Cimas saved Obi Wan Cannabis from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Alex Dijoux put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of La Cimas. Zorros del Desierto made a substitution. Quique Cordoba replaced Sebastián Roco. La Cimas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Dijoux's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. La Cimas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Dijoux went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Obi Wan Cannabis's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lance Kuch was slow to take the kick. During this time Zorros del Desierto's players had a chance to rest. Zorros del Desierto's Lance Kuch was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but La Cimas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 77 minutes into the match, Obi Wan Cannabis's goal looked a bit too open when Lance Kuch came free, but La Cimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Cimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Dijoux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Dijoux took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised La Cimas. La Cimas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. When Zorros del Desierto's Alex Dijoux in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Obi Wan Cannabis's goalie prevented a goal. 87 minutes into the game, Hocine Minh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Obi Wan Cannabis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zorros del Desierto the free kick. After 87 played minutes Obi Wan Cannabis got a freekick which was hit by Hocine Minh. Obi Wan Cannabis's La Cimas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexis Taganikas in the 95th minute of play. La Cimas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Dijoux's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Alex Dijoux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. La Cimas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
