Guido Lizer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Cordairo in the 8th minute of the match. Marciano Cordarell came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cristian Vermudo could save by the left post. Guido Lizer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anibal Cordairo went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Modesto Fidensio kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Prudencio Macerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Lizer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Monteagudo's Hernan Tallia got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Anibal Cordairo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Developers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Cordairo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Monteagudo's Hernan Tallia got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Anibal Cordairo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Developers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Galeno in the 33rd minute of play forced Monteagudo's goalkeeper Guido Lizer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Galeno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Developers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monteagudo the free kick. A collision led to Developers getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Teobaldo Galeno hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Monteagudo defense, Anibal Cordairo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guido Lizer. The Monteagudo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guido Lizer should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd match minute, Monteagudo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Muno to maneuver through the defense. Anibal Cordairo took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guido Lizer. Guido Lizer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After the first half Developers were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anibal Cordairo to make the kick off. Teobaldo Galeno hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the match, Monteagudo's goalkeeper Guido Lizer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prudencio Macerio. In the 62nd minute Hernan Tallia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Vermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prudencio Macerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Guido Lizer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Anibal Cordairo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guido Lizer was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Guido Lizer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Developers. In the 84th minute, Enzo Curcio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Anibal Cordairo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guido Lizer. The goal made the score 0-6. Guido Lizer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Galeno in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Developers eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
