La mano de D10S's Ventura Barrios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Braga in the 18th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Andarilhos's goal looked a bit too open when James Caballero came free, but Sérgio Gameiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Jacques Buendia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sérgio Gameiro. The goal made the score 1-2. Ventura Barrios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarbas Estrela in the 37th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Zarco Menezes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacques Buendia to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Jacques Buendia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Gameiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ventura Barrios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romão Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zarco Menezes helped the player get up and apologised.
