When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Godofredo Remigio made a kick off. Olavo Henriques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Rojas in the 53rd minute of the match. After 54 minutes Racing Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eriberto Hibai who took care of the corner kick. Gavino Rojas was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post.
