The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Racing Club's attentive Andres Felipo managed to snatch the ball when Javier Aguirre made a throw-in in the 4th minute of the game. Javier Aguirre made in the 5th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mehat Kovaçi immediately put the ball in play. In the 9th minute Mehat Kovaçi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Henriques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Equipo getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Mehat Kovaçi hit a great ball. Mike Navarro hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Ismael Furman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Orwel, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Mehat Kovaçi scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olavo Henriques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Equipo's goal looked a bit too open when Maksymilian Walaszkiewicz came free, but Ismael Furman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Equipo's Mehat Kovaçi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Javier Aguirre made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Mehat Kovaçi however managed to control. Mike Navarro made in the 40th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Equipo's 贺宽桦. Ismael Furman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Orwel, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44thth minute of the game George Orwel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Equipo's Ismael Furman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ismael Furman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Orwel in the 46th minute of the match. In the 48th minute of the match Racing Club got a corner. Equipo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eriberto Kimetz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Racing Club's Eriberto Kimetz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ismael Furman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for George Orwel to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th match minute, Equipo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Aguirre to maneuver through the defense. Racing Club made a substitution. Urbano Jago replaced Maksymilian Walaszkiewicz. Racing Club's Geronimo Salomone was substituted for Julian Tejerina. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Salomone in the 65th minute of play forced Equipo's goalkeeper Ismael Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismael Furman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Salomone in the 72nd minute of play. Unai Papachronopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olavo Henriques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Ismael Furman made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Godofredo Remigio sent off a good shot on target. 77 minutes into the match, Equipo's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Salomone came free, but Ismael Furman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Equipo's William Lebigot was substituted for Unai Papachronopoulos. Racing Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eriberto Kimetz in the 81st minute. After taking down the ball on Racing Club's corner Godofredo Remigio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ismael Furman quite easily take care of the ball. Bruno Beugnet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olavo Henriques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Olavo Henriques came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Equipo's Bruno Beugnet. But to his dismay, Bruno Beugnet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Olavo Henriques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Beugnet in the 93rd minute of the match. Ismael Furman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Jago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Equipo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
