Marcell Yashin was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Juan Miguel Buitrago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the game, Xavies Bedoya cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Erwin Pellicer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joacim Nordin hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. C.A. GUAYACO's Gomez Berrahondo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Yoelvis Frecha, made in the 33rd minute of the game. Guerrón Barajo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Erwin Pellicer made a huge save. In the 36th minute Atletico de la Rosa CF were awarded a corner. Artur Pikk went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Artur Pikk got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erwin Pellicer quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Miguel Buitrago in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erwin Pellicer saved C.A. GUAYACO from getting behind. Atletico de la Rosa CF's attentive Ximun Camudio managed to snatch the ball when Gomez Berrahondo made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico de la Rosa CF's zone, Jimmy Estopinal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcell Yashin came out of the goal and Jimmy Estopinal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Jimmy Estopinal made the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Zeca Gadda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. GUAYACO's Erwin Pellicer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeca Gadda in the 57th minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Erwin Pellicer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.A. GUAYACO's Erwin Pellicer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeca Gadda in the 61st minute of play. After having played for 62 minutes, Jimmy Estopinal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. GUAYACO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimmy Estopinal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atletico de la Rosa CF's Alessandro Eguizabal was substituted for Xavies Bedoya. In the 66th minute Juan Miguel Buitrago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Pellicer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jorge Freitas fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. GUAYACO's protests and gave Jorge Freitas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to C.A. GUAYACO getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jorge Freitas hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Juan Miguel Buitrago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Pellicer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute C.A. GUAYACO were awarded a corner. Caicedo Berrondo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led C.A. GUAYACO's Augusto Obarenes to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcell Yashin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marcell Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caicedo Berrondo in the 77th minute of play. Erwin Pellicer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Miguel Buitrago in the 80th minute of play. Erwin Pellicer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Miguel Buitrago went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Erwin Pellicer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeca Gadda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caicedo Berrondo in the 89th minute of play forced Atletico de la Rosa CF's goalkeeper Marcell Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.A. GUAYACO! Erwin Pellicer had in the 91stth minute some difficulties stopping Juan Miguel Buitrago's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Atletico de la Rosa CF's Juan Miguel Buitrago sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erwin Pellicer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Atletico de la Rosa CF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Artur Pikk in the 98th minute. Gomez Berrahondo tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Erwin Pellicer. An unnecessary self made goal, 5-1 in the 98th minute. Atletico de la Rosa CF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
