The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Diablos FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Erwin Pellicer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaviedes Arrese in the 7th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's goal looked a bit too open when Kaviedes Arrese came free, but Erwin Pellicer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reimundo Casado got free with Erwin Pellicer in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Diablos FC fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Diablos FC's Reimundo Casado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 18th minute Moises Suane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Pellicer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A. GUAYACO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Moises Suane was slow to take the kick. During this time Diablos FC's players had a chance to rest. After 22 minutes, Marino Grazia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. GUAYACO and the Diablos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marino Grazia kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Erwin Pellicer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaviedes Arrese's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. When Diablos FC's Kaviedes Arrese in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erwin Pellicer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the game, Kaviedes Arrese lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Erwin Pellicer. Erwin Pellicer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reimundo Casado's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, C.A. GUAYACO's Mariusz Rykaczewski got a free kick in the 40th minute. Moises Suane shot from long distance after 40 played minutes, a shot that Erwin Pellicer with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. After 44 played minutes Diablos FC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Riego. After 45 minutes, 吕延俊 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diablos FC and the C.A. GUAYACO players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Diablos FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. 吕延俊 hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jimmy Estopinal made the kick off in the second half. If Reimundo Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaviedes Arrese in the 54th minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Erwin Pellicer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Joao Hincapié hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's goal looked a bit too open when Kaviedes Arrese came free, but Erwin Pellicer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asensio Capelo made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Jimmy Estopinal sent off a good shot on target. Erwin Pellicer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Franklin Hostos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erwin Pellicer. C.A. GUAYACO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Franklin Hostos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 95 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's goal looked a bit too open when Asencio Cuffaro came free, but Erwin Pellicer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Diablos FC fully deserved thier win.
