GUAYACO's Erwin Pellicer got control of the ball when Juan-Carlos Riancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 17 played minutes E-xplosión Blue 8k got a freekick which was hit by Rogerio Villa. Rui Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zigor Colon having to interfere. Jimmy Estopinal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zigor Colon having to make a save. Zigor Colon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marino Grazia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan-Carlos Riancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erwin Pellicer having to make a save. Zigor Colon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marino Grazia in the 30th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Federico Jaraba got free with Erwin Pellicer in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Jimmy Estopinal might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zigor Colon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jimmy Estopinal ran back to his position shaking his head. Jimmy Estopinal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Zigor Colon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Jimmy Estopinal put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Zigor Colon. If Leoverliz Santander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 87 minutes into the game, C.A. GUAYACO's Jimmy Estopinal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zigor Colon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Jimmy Estopinal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zigor Colon came out and tried to block the shot, but Jimmy Estopinal slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 93rd minute. C.A. GUAYACO played a much better game than E-xplosión Blue 8k and deserved their victory. The E-xplosión Blue 8k players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
