With a left leg Vacid Seralp saved Calentura from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xusto Arostegui in the 24th minute of play forced Calentura's goalkeeper Vacid Seralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xusto Arostegui scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vacid Seralp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Calentura's Sergen Kutsalan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Botello Pinto. That made the score 1-1 after 28 minutes of play. In the 32nd minute Neycho Sergiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vacid Seralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
