The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes Jotares's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jordi Scherz who took care of the corner kick. Peru Diaz made a great header on United FC's corner, it was just that Jotares's Stefan Babicki managed to reach the ball for a save. 9 minutes into the match, United FC's Peru Diaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stefan Babicki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Andries De Putter managed to get in a good position for a shot. United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andries De Putter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Babicki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andries De Putter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stefan Babicki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, United FC's goalkeeper Lei Bin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Baldes. Andries De Putter took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stefan Babicki. Stefan Babicki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Stefan Babicki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andries De Putter's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Lei Bin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Baldes in the 29th minute of play. Andries De Putter might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stefan Babicki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andries De Putter ran back to his position shaking his head. Andries De Putter scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stefan Babicki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute, Andries De Putter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stefan Babicki was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Andries De Putter scored 0-5 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stefan Babicki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 47 minutes into the match, Jotares's goal looked a bit too open when Peru Diaz came free, but Stefan Babicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basilio Urtado hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Jotares's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Ferraz came free, but Stefan Babicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jotares's Gartzea Traveso got a free kick in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Jorge Baldes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dudu Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Babicki having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Dudu Ferraz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dudu Ferraz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dudu Ferraz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. United FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
