Guaparo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Loco Team FC the free kick. The supporters of Loco Team FC booed when Guaparo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Sustrai didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Eraldo Serantoni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vicente Guimarães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Loco Team FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Senon Malta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Guaparo FC's Vicente Guimarães got control of the ball when José Sand tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis María Guadalupe in the 55th minute of play forced Loco Team FC's goalkeeper Zhuang Xing Tian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Senon Malta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhuang Xing Tian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Luis María Guadalupe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zhuang Xing Tian was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Zhuang Xing Tian came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Guaparo FC's Ur Higuera. But to his dismay, Ur Higuera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
