The referee showed Pacífico Albano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute, Pacífico Albano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Santiago Wood from long distance, 10 minutes into the match, got Aureo Martens's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 11th minute, Poulus Moreau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aureo Martens was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 17 played minutes, D.C. United Lampa's Adalberto Malaree shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Markus Necochea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in D.C. United Lampa reached it. Aureo Martens made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Gustavo Nolibuat sent off a good shot on target. Markus Necochea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Tellerias in the 28th minute of the match. Efraín Winter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute Ernesto Daniel Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureo Martens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Markus Necochea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Arriaran, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. A collision led to D.C. United Lampa getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Emmanuel Caticura hit a great ball. Efraín Winter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Markus Necochea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute of the match Adalberto Malaree sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Markus Necochea skillfully saved the ball. Markus Necochea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Jesus Adriazola in the 45th minute of play. San Gregorio FC's Markus Necochea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efraín Winter in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Efraín Winter to strike the kick off in the second half. Markus Necochea was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Adalberto Malaree. D.C. United Lampa's Marcel Tellerias got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Efraín Winter came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Markus Necochea could save by the left post. In the 60th minute, Marcel Tellerias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. San Gregorio FC's Markus Necochea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Tellerias in the 62nd minute of play. With a little luck, San Gregorio FC's Markus Necochea got control of the ball when Efraín Winter tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Marcel Tellerias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Efraín Winter did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-4 to the left of a surprised Markus Necochea 70 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Poulus Moreau in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aureo Martens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to D.C. United Lampa getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Emmanuel Caticura hit a great ball. D.C. United Lampa's Marcel Tellerias got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcel Tellerias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Necochea having to interfere. A hard shot 84 in the game by Marcel Tellerias from a close distance when the talented Markus Necochea managed to make a qualified save. San Gregorio FC's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, San Gregorio FC's Ernesto Daniel Rogers got a free kick in the 95th minute.
