Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Telmo Mac Iver started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Mariano Mac Kay got free with Merlin Nef in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Merlin Nef took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telmo Mac Iver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo Mac Iver in the 8th minute of play forced C.D. Meseta Azul's goalkeeper Merlin Nef to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Enrique Mariano Mac Kay fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Larmahue's protests and gave Enrique Mariano Mac Kay a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute Telmo Mac Iver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merlin Nef saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mercurio Aristizaval made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnathan Rowett in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Mercurio Aristizaval tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 91 minutes into the game, when Abel Mas put in a rough tackle. Fortunato Javia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Merlin Nef. C.D. Meseta Azul's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, C.D. Meseta Azul's Juan Jelves got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the final whistle sounded C.D. Meseta Azul left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Larmahue.
