Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Efraín Winter took the kick off in the first half of the match. Aureo Martens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Antonio Arriaza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Marcel Tellerias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eladio Villarreal. The goal made the score 1-0. If José Antonio Arriaza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureo Martens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Guillestegui, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Aureo Martens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Guillestegui in the 22nd minute of the match. D.C. United Lampa's Aureo Martens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Poblete in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match Khalil Gibran got a corner. D.C. United Lampa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. José Antonio Arriaza ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Khalil Gibran's José Antonio Arriaza to fire away a dangerous shot which Aureo Martens despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Efraín Winter notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Khalil Gibran's Eladio Villarreal. Eladio Villarreal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Tellerias in the 34th minute of play forced Khalil Gibran's goalkeeper Eladio Villarreal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th match minute, Khalil Gibran was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Torrijo to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Marcel Tellerias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eladio Villarreal was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Khalil Gibran's Eladio Villarreal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Tellerias in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Ignacio Guillestegui cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Aureo Martens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ignacio Guillestegui stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Tellerias in the 56th minute of play forced Khalil Gibran's goalkeeper Eladio Villarreal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eladio Villarreal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efraín Winter in the 61st minute of play. The throw-in from Teofilo Poblete in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by D.C. United Lampa's Adelino Picarte. 67 minutes into the match, Khalil Gibran's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Arriaran came free, but Eladio Villarreal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Ignacio Guillestegui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute Ignacio Guillestegui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureo Martens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Antonio Arriaza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureo Martens having to interfere. Eladio Villarreal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efraín Winter, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Efraín Winter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignacio Guillestegui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Khalil Gibran booed when D.C. United Lampa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efraín Winter didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Antonio Arriaza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureo Martens having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, D.C. United Lampa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Arriaran to maneuver through the defense.
