Cabildo FC's attentive Aaron Erazo managed to snatch the ball when Romeo Salvatierra made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. When Pang Xun came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Cabildo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pang Xun couldn't finish the play. Shaolin Soccer FC's Niguel Abad suffered a concussion after 21 minutes and had to leave the field. Pang Xun's late challenge caught a Shaolin Soccer FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pang Xun helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cabildo FC's Pang Xun got a free kick in the 21st minute. Pang Xun had several of the Shaolin Soccer FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 25 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Tancredo Quera as he didn't even see the shot coming. Carlos Manuel Jeréz hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Pang Xun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 35 played minutes Cabildo FC got a freekick which was hit by Remicio Bueno. When Romeo Salvatierra fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shaolin Soccer FC's protests and gave Romeo Salvatierra a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, Shaolin Soccer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Salvatierra to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th match minute, Shaolin Soccer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnín Alfaro to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pang Xun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Saturnín Alfaro kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Cabildo FC's Remicio Bueno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tancredo Quera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Cabildo FC made a substitution. Rafael Alzola replaced Carlos Manuel Jeréz. In the 61st minute, Remicio Bueno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tancredo Quera was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Pang Xun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabildo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pang Xun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tancredo Quera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 68 minutes into the game, Aaron Erazo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Tancredo Quera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Remicio Bueno took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tancredo Quera. Tancredo Quera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. The Cabildo FC fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Cabildo FC's Pang Xun looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pang Xun in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tancredo Quera saved Shaolin Soccer FC from getting behind. Cabildo FC's Pang Xun got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Saturnín Alfaro came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Shaolin Soccer FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saturnín Alfaro couldn't finish the play. Shaolin Soccer FC's Tancredo Quera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pang Xun in the 88th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Shaolin Soccer FC got a freekick which was hit by Moncho Fell. After having played for 90 minutes, Pang Xun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabildo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pang Xun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Pang Xun made a precise shot to the right of Tancredo Quera. Shaolin Soccer FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. There was no doubt that Cabildo FC were the better team. Cabildo FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
