If Efraín Winter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cabildo FC's Patricio Toledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Cabildo FC from getting a goal against them. After 12 played minutes D.C. United Lampa got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Malaree. In the 19th minute, Pang Xun made a precise shot to the right of Aureo Martens. D.C. United Lampa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Aureo Martens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pang Xun, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After some careless play in the D.C. United Lampa defense, Remicio Bueno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aureo Martens. The D.C. United Lampa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aureo Martens should have stopped the shot. 30 minutes into the game, Cabildo FC's Pang Xun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aureo Martens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Aureo Martens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pang Xun in the 34th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes D.C. United Lampa got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Malaree. D.C. United Lampa's Aureo Martens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pang Xun in the 39th minute of play. With a little luck, Cabildo FC's Patricio Toledo got control of the ball when Efraín Winter tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 43 played minutes D.C. United Lampa got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Malaree. Adalberto Malaree lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Cabildo FC booed when D.C. United Lampa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adalberto Malaree didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in D.C. United Lampa's zone, Carlos Manuel Jeréz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aureo Martens came out of the goal and Carlos Manuel Jeréz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Cabildo FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

D.C. United Lampa's Aureo Martens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remicio Bueno in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57th minute, Remicio Bueno reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aureo Martens. The goal made the score 1-4. Cabildo FC's Rafael Alzola was substituted for Carlos Manuel Jeréz. Remicio Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Aureo Martens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, D.C. United Lampa's Aureo Martens got control of the ball when Pang Xun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Uriel Arriaran hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Cabildo FC's Remicio Bueno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aureo Martens. That made the score 1-5 after 69 minutes of play. Aureo Martens came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cabildo FC's Pang Xun. But to his dismay, Pang Xun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. If Efraín Winter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. D.C. United Lampa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Josué Galilea scored to the left of an out of position Aureo Martens, making the score, 1-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Erazo in the 89th minute of play forced D.C. United Lampa's goalkeeper Aureo Martens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the D.C. United Lampa defense, Remicio Bueno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aureo Martens. The D.C. United Lampa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aureo Martens should have stopped the shot. D.C.
