In the 30th minute Enrique Mariano Mac Kay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merlin Nef saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, C.D. Meseta Azul's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Mariano Mac Kay came free, but Merlin Nef reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filomeno Barcena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Merlin Nef made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Isadoro Castex sent off a good shot on target. Johnathan Rowett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mercurio Aristizaval having to interfere. If Johnathan Rowett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the C.D. Meseta Azul players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
