Tauro Dittmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Durney in the 36th minute of play. Tauro Dittmann was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Eufemio Friz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eufemio Friz really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. Victoria FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Romeo Durney scored to the left of an out of position Tauro Dittmann, making the score, 5-1. When Adalberto Parada fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

After 51 played minutes Victoria FC got a freekick which was hit by Tor Von Stillfried. With a little luck, CD La Serena's Luis Javier Gálvez got control of the ball when Alarico Tiñoli tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eufemio Friz in the 64th minute of play forced Victoria FC's goalkeeper Tauro Dittmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tauro Dittmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eufemio Friz in the 66th minute of the match. After 67 played minutes Victoria FC got a freekick which was hit by Timeteo Fadda. Tauro Dittmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Maria Carson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tauro Dittmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eufemio Friz in the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CD La Serena's Joel Arteche got a free kick in the 71st minute. Tauro Dittmann came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by CD La Serena's Eufemio Friz. But to his dismay, Eufemio Friz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. After 82 played minutes CD La Serena got a freekick which was hit by Joel Arteche. After a rather tough play, Victoria FC's Leonel Alsina got a free kick in the 83rd minute. If Adán Reveco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnau Barraza hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Eufemio Friz might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tauro Dittmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eufemio Friz ran back to his position shaking his head. Remicio Arbildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Partarrieu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luis Javier Gálvez. CD La Serena's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 97 minutes into the game, Honorio Berganza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-3. Luis Javier Gálvez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. CD La Serena walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
