Spectators: 10869 (Terracing: 8152, Seating: 2500, VIP seats: 217) Rickard Erserman started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thomas Cochrane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ye Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Erserman, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Inter de Chillán's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tobías Izamit in the 9th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Svend Betz got free with Zhuo Xuan Yu in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute Thomas Cochrane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhuo Xuan Yu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Zhuo Xuan Yu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Svend Betz. Inter de Chillán's Zhuo Xuan Yu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Cochrane in the 27th minute of play. Ye Wei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rickard Erserman went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The FSX UNITED players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Inter de Chillán were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Svend Betz to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Flavio Cutberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FSX UNITED and the Inter de Chillán players grew even worse after the yellow card. Flavio Cutberto kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Inter de Chillán getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Clemente Jaen hit a great ball. Zhuo Xuan Yu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Cochrane in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svend Betz in the 65th minute of play forced Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Zhuo Xuan Yu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FSX UNITED made a substitution. Amancio Baesler replaced Svend Betz. After 70 played minutes FSX UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Baesler. Ye Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rimas Ciparis, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Ye Wei made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Grzegorz Bierfass sent off a good shot on target. In the 79thth minute of the game Marcelo Salas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter de Chillán's Zhuo Xuan Yu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 80 minutes Inter de Chillán's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karl-Åke Kvist who took care of the corner kick. Zhuo Xuan Yu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Baesler, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Grzegorz Bierfass kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ye Wei. That made the score 0-2 in the 87 minute of play. Inter de Chillán's Zhuo Xuan Yu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Salas in the 90th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FSX UNITED's zone, Grzegorz Bierfass stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ye Wei came out of the goal and Grzegorz Bierfass tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ye Wei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Bierfass, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Inter de Chillán had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
