In the 13th minute of the match, Rickard Erserman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Valentin Ospetsu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Inter de Chillán defense, Iván Luis Zamorano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zhuo Xuan Yu. The Inter de Chillán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zhuo Xuan Yu should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the game, Rickard Erserman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Valentin Ospetsu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valentin Ospetsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Erserman, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪'s Valentin Ospetsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Erserman in the 27th minute of play. A throw-in in the 29th minute of the game was made by Mercurio San Martín with Rickard Erserman as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The throw-in from Clemente Jaen in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪'s Juan Jose Peacock. Zhuo Xuan Yu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iván Luis Zamorano, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Inter de Chillán's Zhuo Xuan Yu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iván Luis Zamorano in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iván Luis Zamorano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Inter de Chillán's Eladio Araujo was substituted for Rickard Erserman. ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪'s Bruno Marco was substituted for Cassiano Novais. ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪ made a substitution. Samuel Abel replaced Edilberto Aballay. After 66 played minutes Inter de Chillán got a freekick which was hit by Eladio Araujo. 67 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Zhuo Xuan Yu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ofelio Galván. A hard shot by Romeo Santa María from long distance, 77 minutes into the match, got Zhuo Xuan Yu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Alfonso Sotta kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eladio Araujo in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valentin Ospetsu saved ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪ from getting behind. 91 minutes into the match, Eladio Araujo notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪'s Valentin Ospetsu. Valentin Ospetsu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Inter de Chillán booed when ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elazar Talamilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inter de Chillán were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
