When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Nicolas Sergipano put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Arthur Martins. The supporters of Nottingham Forrest F.C booed when Biquinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arlindo Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Biquinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Sergipano came free, but Arthur Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Sergipano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arthur Martins having to make a save. 14 minutes into the game, Nottingham Forrest F.C's Richard Campidelis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arthur Martins made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Richard Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Arthur Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arthur Martins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolas Sergipano went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Arlindo Soares made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Nottingham Forrest F.C's Richard Campidelis. Nicolas Sergipano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arthur Martins having to make a save. Nicolas Sergipano might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arthur Martins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Sergipano ran back to his position shaking his head. Arthur Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Sergipano in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Nicolas Sergipano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arthur Martins. Biquinha FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolas Sergipano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Arthur Martins came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Nottingham Forrest F.C's Nicolas Sergipano. But to his dismay, Nicolas Sergipano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. If Bruno Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Nestor Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Crayon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arlindo Soares in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Biquinha FC's goalkeeper Arthur Martins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Nottingham Forrest F.C were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Sergipano to make the kick off. Nicolas Sergipano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Martins having to interfere. Nicolas Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arthur Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Sergipano in the 60th minute of play. In the 60th match minute, Nottingham Forrest F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Neto to maneuver through the defense. Arlindo Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arlindo Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Biquinha FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Arlindo Soares hit a great ball. If Téo Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicolas Sergipano might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arthur Martins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Sergipano ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute, Nicolas Sergipano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Nottingham Forrest F.C's Nicolas Sergipano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Nicolas Sergipano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arthur Martins read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Nicolas Sergipano notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Biquinha FC's Arthur Martins. Arthur Martins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Sergipano in the 81st minute of play forced Biquinha FC's goalkeeper Arthur Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicolas Sergipano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arthur Martins. That made the score 0-9 in the 86 minute of play. The Biquinha FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nottingham Forrest F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
