With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Sergipano in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Adolfo Almeida saved Barradas FC from getting behind. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barradas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicolas Sergipano was slow to take the kick. During this time Nottingham Forrest F.C's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Nicolas Sergipano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this João Adolfo Almeida quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Campidelis during the 65th minute. João Adolfo Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Sergipano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolas Sergipano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Adolfo Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Álvaro Peña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th match minute, Barradas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. If Nicolas Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 played minutes Nottingham Forrest F.C got a freekick which was hit by Richard Campidelis. Nottingham Forrest F.C's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
