Spectators: 7764 (Terracing: 5824, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when João Vítor Barros took the kick off in the first half of the match. Diguinho Rezende charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diguinho Rezende the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diguinho Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Nottingham Forrest F.C's Felix Crayon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Vítor Barros in the 4th minute of play. Felix Crayon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Vítor Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Edvaldo Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 14th play minutes João Vítor Barros shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Felix Crayon and just under the crossbar into goal. Téo Sampaio hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Richard Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Er Miner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Sergipano in the 31st minute of the match. After 34 minutes Countdown FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nicolas Sergipano who took care of the corner kick. Washington Demartis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Felix Crayon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute Countdown FC were awarded a corner. Diguinho Rezende went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Diguinho Rezende got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Felix Crayon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Nottingham Forrest F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Countdown FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Sergipano to make the kick off. Felix Crayon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vítor Barros in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Sergipano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Er Miner was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Nicolas Sergipano might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Er Miner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Sergipano ran back to his position shaking his head. Er Miner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Sergipano, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Er Miner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolas Sergipano went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Washington Demartis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Felix Crayon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bernardinho Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Countdown FC made a substitution. Dida Carioca replaced Alfredão Sergipano. In the 69th minute, Bernardinho Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diguinho Rezende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 minutes of play, Nottingham Forrest F.C's Nicolas Sergipano made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Er Miner was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the match, Nottingham Forrest F.C's goal looked a bit too open when João Vítor Barros came free, but Felix Crayon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Crayon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Washington Demartis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute João Vítor Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Crayon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Vítor Barros was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Countdown FC's Er Miner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Sergipano in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute, João Vítor Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Countdown FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
