Acácio Zonta came out of the goal and Tarcisio Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. But to his dismay, Aníbal Sá quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 30th minute of the match, Clóvis Vaz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Haroldo Dante saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Acácio Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Nahia in the 33rd minute of the match. After 35 minutes Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Norberto Lara who took care of the corner kick.
