When Iago Bala came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the America Futebol Clube SP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iago Bala couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Iago Bala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simão Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Iago Bala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 13 minutes into the match, ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s goal looked a bit too open when Iago Bala came free, but Simão Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute America Futebol Clube SP were awarded a corner. Dreas Jamieson went to the cornerflag to take it. Dreas Jamieson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iago Bala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simão Cunha having to make a save. Simão Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iago Bala, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After some careless play in the ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ defense, Iago Bala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simão Cunha. The ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simão Cunha should have stopped the shot. Simão Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iago Bala's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, America Futebol Clube SP's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luiz Quirino came free, but Stefan Rasiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When America Futebol Clube SP's Iago Bala in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tadeu Xavier was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a little luck, America Futebol Clube SP's Stefan Rasiak got control of the ball when Luisinho Cardozo tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iago Bala in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simão Cunha saved ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ from getting behind. Simão Cunha came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by America Futebol Clube SP's Iago Bala. But to his dismay, Iago Bala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Carlos Capixaba's late challenge caught a ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Capixaba helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to America Futebol Clube SP getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Carlos Capixaba hit a great ball. America Futebol Clube SP made a substitution. Zézinho Costa replaced Iago Bala. Carlos Capixaba kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Simão Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Costa in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s goalkeeper Simão Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zézinho Costa. In the 60th minute, Zézinho Costa made a precise shot to the right of Simão Cunha. ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 63 minutes into the game, America Futebol Clube SP's Zézinho Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simão Cunha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho Cardozo in the 71st minute of play forced America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Stefan Rasiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zézinho Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Simão Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Luisinho Cardozo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stefan Rasiak was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. The supporters of America Futebol Clube SP booed when ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the game, America Futebol Clube SP's Zézinho Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simão Cunha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zézinho Costa in the 93rd minute of play forced ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s goalkeeper Simão Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute of the match America Futebol Clube SP got a corner. ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dreas Jamieson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led America Futebol Clube SP's Dreas Jamieson to fire away a dangerous shot which Simão Cunha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the final whistle sounded America Futebol Clube SP left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ♞Sir Galahad FC♞.
