Daniel Anaya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Mazza in the 14th minute. In the 21stth minute of the game Ezequiel Pereira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's Anselmo Furlan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Leme got free with Daniel Anaya in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anselmo Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Pereira in the 26th minute of play. Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's Anselmo Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Pereira in the 29th minute of play. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's goalkeeper Anselmo Furlan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Anaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válter Baiano in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Lobo Guará were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Pedro Augusto Fenomeno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd play minute Ezequiel Pereira came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Anselmo Furlan. 0-2. In the 61st minute Ezequiel Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 minutes of play, Lobo Guará's Ezequiel Pereira made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anselmo Furlan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice moves Ezequiel Pereira could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Anselmo Furlan however easily saved by the left post. Lobo Guará made a substitution. King Koopa replaced Willian Caca-Rato. Lobo Guará's Daniel Anaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Mazza in the 72nd minute of play. Lobo Guará's Ciro de Moraes was substituted for Ezequiel Pereira. A collision led to Lobo Guará getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Nando Barbosa hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Leme in the 76th minute of play forced Lobo Guará's goalkeeper Daniel Anaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro de Moraes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anselmo Furlan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Ciro de Moraes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lobo Guará fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Anselmo Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute Ciro de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Furlan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ciro de Moraes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 90 minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Isaltino Fonseca notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Lobo Guará's Daniel Anaya. Daniel Anaya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Lobo Guará supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lobo Guará would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
