In the 85th minute Cássio de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Espigão Steamrollers fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Espigão Steamrollers's Tarcisio Galvão looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 91 minutes, Adhemar Santos made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Espigão Steamrollers's Pablo Patrone tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pablo Patrone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adhemar Santos's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Fernando Azevedo got free with Haji Sarap in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th match minute, Joinville City - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horácio Abraão to maneuver through the defense. The Joinville City - FSCMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Espigão Steamrollers's performance. The match ended with a win for Espigão Steamrollers.
