But to his dismay, Marquinhos Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 40 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's goalkeeper Jarbas Quadros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baba Moco. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baba Moco was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C were awarded a corner. Charlie Vandamme went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Marquinhos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. PREZULO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marquinhos Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimir Prestes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Jobo got free with Vladimir Prestes in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in PREZULO FC's zone, Charlie Vandamme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarbas Quadros came out of the goal and Charlie Vandamme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. PREZULO FC's Betão de Brito was substituted for Olgierd Literski. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaac Ferreira in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimir Prestes saved UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Betão de Brito got free with Vladimir Prestes in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Isaac Ferreira sped through UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vladimir Prestes. 87 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavinho Sousa came free, but Jarbas Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C defense, Isaac Ferreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimir Prestes. The UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimir Prestes should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Ferreira in the 94th minute of play forced UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's goalkeeper Vladimir Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Jaunzuria came free, but Vladimir Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
