Bernal Oeste's Emilio Phelipe got a free kick in the 6th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Vicente Iratzeder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curitas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Bernal Oeste the free kick. In the 11th minute, Vicente Iratzeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, C.A. Bernal Oeste's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Isias came free, but Fabian Artizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when C.A. Bernal Oeste's Donato Ladio in the 31st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Norberto Cruz was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Curitas FC through an amazing save. Norberto Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Ladio in the 39th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Federico Hunfredo got free with Norberto Cruz in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Curitas FC's Norberto Cruz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Curitas FC from getting a goal against them. C.A. Bernal Oeste's Fabian Artizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Burni in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Leon Isias made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Curitas FC's zone, Anibal Ramirez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Cruz came out of the goal and Anibal Ramirez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norberto Cruz came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Bernal Oeste's Remigio Tajo. But to his dismay, Remigio Tajo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 59 minutes into the match, Curitas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Ramirez came free, but Norberto Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Curitas FC's Eusebio Laffitte got a free kick in the 71st minute. Donato Ladio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79thth minute of the game Remigio Tajo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curitas FC's Norberto Cruz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Norberto Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Ramirez in the 80th minute of the match. Norberto Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anibal Ramirez went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Agustin Naldo's late challenge caught a C.A. Bernal Oeste's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agustin Naldo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of C.A. Bernal Oeste booed when Curitas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Naldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that C.A. Bernal Oeste were the better team. C.A. Bernal Oeste's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
