Jacinto Ramirez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Salvino in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Umea in the 12th minute of play forced Vanguardia's goalkeeper Jacinto Ramirez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Ramirez came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Tejas FC's Danilo Salvino. But to his dismay, Danilo Salvino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Danilo Salvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 minutes of play, Tejas FC's Victorino Umea made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacinto Ramirez was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute, Bruno Illart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Simon Tono's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristo Ezkerra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorino Umea made a kick off. If Danilo Salvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tejas FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Danilo Salvino hit a great ball. Jacinto Ramirez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Umea, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Danilo Salvinos short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Jacinto Ramirez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Danilo Salvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Ramirez having to interfere. In the 68th minute of the match Fulgencio Hibai shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacinto Ramirez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vanguardia's Nereo Quinito got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacinto Ramirez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danilo Salvino in the 72nd minute. Danilo Salvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jacinto Ramirez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Ramirez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victorino Umea's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Victorino Umea struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Jacinto Ramirez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tejas FC. The audience was convinced that Victorino Umea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacinto Ramirez was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. If Danilo Salvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Victorino Umea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Ramirez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Umea in the 94th minute of play forced Vanguardia's goalkeeper Jacinto Ramirez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
