Melquiades Gaspard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Conrao in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Almagro's Feliberto Bittor got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Empomadores booed when Almagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Bittor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteban Txanton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Ticho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Anibal Gutxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnoldo Ticho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Txanton in the 43rd minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benicio Conrao to strike the kick off in the second half. Benicio Conrao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Gaspard having to interfere. If Luisito Stephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benicio Conrao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute, Benicio Conrao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Empomadores's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Txanton came free, but Arnoldo Ticho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76thth minute of the game Esteban Txanton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Empomadores's Arnoldo Ticho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 82 minutes, Cristobal Tancredo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almagro and the Empomadores players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristobal Tancredo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Amancio Quentin didn't quite understand what happened when in the 84 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Luisito Stephen scored 1-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Gaspard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Almagro's Melquiades Gaspard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Stephen in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Anibal Gutxi notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Empomadores's Arnoldo Ticho. Arnoldo Ticho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
