Jacinto Ramirez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Cilio in the 28th minute of the match. Benjamin Gumaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Quinito, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Justo Cilio took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Ramirez. Jacinto Ramirez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. 34 minutes into the match, Nereo Quinito dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benjamin Gumaro, 3-3. Apolo Pietro hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Chelforó FC's Justo Cilio got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vanguardia's Jacinto Ramirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Cilio in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 3-3 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Simon Tono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Simon Tono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Gumaro having to interfere. Benjamin Gumaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Tono, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Jacinto Ramirez was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Federico Txaran capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Justo Cilio might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacinto Ramirez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justo Cilio ran back to his position shaking his head. When Nicasio Urtungo came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Chelforó FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicasio Urtungo couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Chelforó FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vanguardia.
