Guernica FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hilario Firman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 39th minute, Israel Peyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Deportivo Mbarete's Guido Pacifico got control of the ball when Teo Flores tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st play minute Hilario Firman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arnulfo Lope. 0-3. Guido Pacifico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teo Flores's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Niceto Matai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Arnulfo Lope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Hilario Firman notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Guernica FC's Arnulfo Lope. Arnulfo Lope was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
