Spectators: 8441 (Terracing: 6332, Seating: 1941, VIP seats: 168) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cristian Naike took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Roland in the 3rd minute of play forced CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's goalkeeper Uriel Lano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Carlos Alberto Tevez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elpidio Vitin. Elpidio Vitin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Sotos Kastaniou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute Tiburcio Quinteros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Lano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tiburcio Quinteros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uriel Lano was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. 12 minutes into the match, CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Roland came free, but Uriel Lano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Alberto Tevez might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elpidio Vitin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. With a little luck, Vélez Juniors's Elpidio Vitin got control of the ball when Carlos Alberto Tevez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Uriel Lano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Roland in the 24th minute of the match. CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Arnulfo Liberto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elpidio Vitin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 31 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Quinteros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uriel Lano. CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiburcio Quinteros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Elpidio Vitin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 42nd minute CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 were awarded a corner. Joaquin Chuan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Joaquin Chuan to fire away a dangerous shot which Elpidio Vitin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 47 minutes, Carlos Alberto Tevez made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vélez Juniors's Elpidio Vitin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

A collision led to CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Carlos Alberto Tevez hit a great ball. Vélez Juniors's Guido Luzaide shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 60th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Uriel Lano but with some difficulty. 64 minutes into the game, Carlos Alberto Tevez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Elpidio Vitin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Alberto Tevez in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elpidio Vitin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Joaquin Chuan pulled a muscle in his leg after 69 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Cristian Naike fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vélez Juniors's protests and gave Cristian Naike a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Vélez Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Naike. CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Bonifacio Bartoli was substituted for Marcelo Delgado. CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Vasco Lamego was substituted for Zachariasz Pstrongowski. After 71 played minutes Vélez Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Naike. 72 minutes into the match, CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Rivas came free, but Uriel Lano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elpidio Vitin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vasco Lamego in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elpidio Vitin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elpidio Vitin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vasco Lamego's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Elpidio Vitin didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Bonifacio Bartoli shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 90th minute, Bonifacio Bartoli made a precise shot to the right of Elpidio Vitin. Vélez Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Bonifacio Bartoli managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Bartoli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elpidio Vitin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bonifacio Bartoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
