Fernando Ciano took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franco Andreoli. Franco Andreoli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yin Jian Bin in the 12th minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Anastasio Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sportivo Mela Banco getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Roman Berdoi hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelino Baumer got free with Franco Andreoli in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelino Baumer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Franco Andreoli made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, Sportivo Mela Banco's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Panpili came free, but Franco Andreoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Sportivo Mela Banco's goalkeeper Franco Andreoli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Ciano. Yin Jian Bin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fernando Ciano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Franco Andreoli made a huge save. Franco Andreoli was a little too slow when Fernando Ciano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-0. 39 minutes into the game, Miromir Ciechocki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Anastasio Janpier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Franco Andreoli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Ciano in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Sportivo Mela Banco's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Panpili came free, but Franco Andreoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Sportivo Mela Banco made a substitution. Vinny Speed replaced Miromir Ciechocki. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Sauveur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Bruno Sauveur recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anastasio Janpier. Bruno Sauveur showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. 58 minutes into the match, Bruno Sauveur dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anastasio Janpier, 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Panpili in the 60th minute of play forced Sportivo Mela Banco's goalkeeper Franco Andreoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marlin FC were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Sportivo Mela Banco's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ismael Iglesias took the corner. If Bruno Sauveur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anastasio Janpier made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Bruno Sauveur sent off a good shot on target. Sportivo Mela Banco's Cheng Xiong Ang quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dong Xiong Sang, made in the 84th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Ciano in the 85th minute of play forced Sportivo Mela Banco's goalkeeper Franco Andreoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Froilan Bartolome came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Sportivo Mela Banco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Froilan Bartolome couldn't finish the play. Franco Andreoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Iglesias, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Marlin FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
