Mitt Bena came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Smiddy Celts's Paddy Thomson. But to his dismay, Paddy Thomson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Jesse McJames took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max McAndeoir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 47 minutes, Max McAndeoir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. McNahas Clan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Max McAndeoir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Graeme McRobie was the one to do the kick off. Mitt Bena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Graeme McRobie in the 51st minute of the match. Mitt Bena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paddy Thomson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute Paddy Thomson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mitt Bena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
