The supporters of Alloa Golden Blades booed when Lord of the Wings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur McIlreach didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 played minutes Lord of the Wings got a freekick which was hit by Arthur McIlreach. Leopoldo Rameriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gábor Joó, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 66th match minute, Lord of the Wings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Putra Madura to maneuver through the defense. Jamie Federith might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ron McGrath. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jamie Federith ran back to his position shaking his head. Leopoldo Rameriz came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Lord of the Wings's Gábor Joó. But to his dismay, Gábor Joó quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Leopoldo Rameriz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wally Casey in the 71st minute. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alloa Golden Blades's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rolando Chaime was slow to take the kick. During this time Lord of the Wings's players had a chance to rest. Graham Pinkerton made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Lord of the Wings's Norman Forest. In the 80th minute Gábor Joó shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Rameriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lord of the Wings were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Alloa Golden Blades's much stronger midfield.
